CityO designs, builds, and maintains proprietary thematic databases, mapping data on municipalities at European and international levels and monitoring investment in social, cultural, and innovation infrastructure.

By combining database architecture with advanced spatial and economic data analysis, we turn fragmented local metrics into structured intelligence, enabling dynamic monitoring and precise impact measurement for urban strategies.

We are currently developing three categories of proprietary databases. Driven by an ongoing R&D approach, all databases are continuously populated and maintained.

• The Italian and European Municipalities Database: Moving forward, MUNI-ITA – which has been operational for several years – will be integrated with the recently launched MUNI-EU.
  MUNI-ITA contains multidimensional data and indicators on every Italian municipality, covering economics, income, tourism, demographics, geography, and various other categories. MUNI-EU expands this scope to the entire European Union and is currently under development.
• The INFRACULT Database: This database covers investments in cultural infrastructure (such as museums, theaters, libraries, and community centers), with a dedicated focus on CAPEX and OPEX data alongside a comprehensive set of KPIs.
• The INNOCLUS Database: INNOCLUS tracks public and private investments in clusters, infrastructure, and spaces dedicated to research, knowledge, and innovation. It places a strong emphasis on CAPEX, OPEX, and key performance metrics, while also tracking involvement in urban development and regeneration initiatives. The database encompasses innovation infrastructure such as Italian and European tech hubs and the clusters to which they belong.
